We believe that a major challenge for the church of Christ today is to be effective witnesses for our Lord. The Lord has given us the Vision of being a “Divine Connection” We recognize the difficulties that faces the church today from within the congregation and our relationship to the world. We further realize that without a true connection to Christ neither of these challenges will be met. Therefore, we seek to be Divine Connect to Christ, Congregation, & Community. Connected to Christ empowers and enlightens us to fulfill the great commission of Jesus Christ. Without being divinely connected to Christ through power of the Holy Spirit this cannot be accomplished Connected to congregation is vitally important because we understand the important of loving one another, by this shall all men know that we are His disciples. We are admonished to seek peace with all men, especially those of the household of faith. Only through the connection to Christ can this be accomplished Connected to Community we realize is God’s purpose for His church. From Old Testament, to the New Testament and even today his desire is for His people to reach the world. We believe that we must be connected to our communities, both locally, regionally, and abroad to fulfill the Lord’s mandate for His church. Thus, we are the Divine Connection.
